How much do you charge?
The price we charge depends on the make and model of your vehicle and the condition of the paintwork. It will also depend on the service you choose. Your vehicle generally needs to be viewed under our specialist equipment to see whether or not scratches and paint defects can be removed safely and how long it will take to carry out the work required. Why Get Your New Car Detailed Before Delivery?
Contrary to common belief, brand-new cars often don't look their best when they leave the dealership. Despite a quick wash and polish, these cars may still carry residue from protective film used during transportation and might have endured exposure to environmental elements. Why Not Use an Automatic Car Wash?
While automatic car washes may seem convenient, they can be harsh on your car's paint. They often strip away any protection you may have, damage your clear coat and leave your paint looking dull. Furthermore, automatic car washes are less thorough compared to a careful hand wash.
Why Does My Car's Paint Finish Look Streaky and Dull?
A streaky and dull paint finish can be a sign of oxidation, which occurs as paint ages and deteriorates from exposure to road oils and sunlight. Surface scratches and swirls, caused by improper washing techniques and neglect, can also contribute to this appearance. Quality Control Detailing can address these issues through safe washing, machine polishing and adding a layer of protection which can help prevent these issues.
Ceramic Coating
Ceramic Coating for cars is a liquid polymer, which on applying to your car’s exterior, bonds with its factory paint and forms a semi-permanent layer of protection over it. Ceramic Coatings are formulated from the same raw material used in glass and ceramics – i.e. Silicon Dioxide or SiO2.
Why your vehicle needs paint protection?
Every day you take your car on the road, you expose its surface to natural elements like UV rays, rain, and bird droppings, as well as pollutants like smoke, dirt, and tar from the road, all of which can cause physical and chemical harm. Oxidation, dents, abrasions, and scratches are all ways to kill the natural shine of your car. The car’s paint is not enough to fight all these elements alone. Enter paint protection products like ceramic coatings and grapheme coatings, which create a layer, almost like a second skin, on top of your car paint to protect it from all the natural and industrial aggressors that attack paint. And of course, there is science behind it. Ceramic coatings and graphene each protect the car paint based on a different scientific technique.
What causes swirl marks?
Swirl marks are fine scratches in your vehicle's clear coat that are most commonly caused by improper washing and drying techniques, automatic car washes, contaminated wash mitts or towels, and poor machine-polishing techniques. They are particularly noticeable under direct sunlight or strong lighting. Depending on their severity, swirl marks can often be significantly reduced or removed through professional machine polishing or paint correction. After completing the work, we can also advise you on safe washing and maintenance techniques to help prevent them from returning.
How secure is my vehicle while in your care?
Vehicles left in our care are kept at our private Windsor detailing premises, which is protected by CCTV and an alarm system. The premises are not open to the general public or used for walk-in customers, helping us maintain a private and controlled working environment. We take the security and care of every vehicle entrusted to us seriously.

You don't need to own an expensive vehicle to use QC Detailing — our services are for anyone who cares about their car and wants it looked after properly. Every vehicle receives the same professional care and attention to detail.
Is a coating worth the investment?
For many car owners, yes. A ceramic coating provides a durable layer of protection that helps protect your vehicle's paintwork from environmental contamination while making the car easier to clean and maintain. It also enhances gloss and helps keep the paintwork looking its best for longer.
However, ceramic coating isn't suitable for every customer or every vehicle. The condition of the paintwork, how the car is used, where it is kept and how you plan to maintain it all matter. We'll always recommend the most appropriate level of protection for your vehicle rather than simply selling you the most expensive option.
