Why Get Your New Car Detailed Before Delivery?
Contrary to common belief, brand-new cars often don't look their best when they leave the dealership. Despite a quick wash and polish, these cars may still carry residue from protective film used during transportation and might have endured exposure to environmental elements. Quality Control Detailing specialises in correcting these imperfections, leaving your new car looking exceptional and well-protected for years to come.
Why Not Use an Automatic Car Wash?
While automatic car washes may seem convenient, they can be harsh on your car's paint. They often strip away any protection you may have, adage your clear coat and leave your paint looking dull. Furthermore, automatic car washes are less thorough compared to a careful hand wash.
Why Does My Car's Paint Finish Look Streaky and Dull?
A streaky and dull paint finish can be a sign of oxidation, which occurs as paint ages and deteriorates from exposure to road oils and sunlight. Surface scratches and swirls, caused by improper washing techniques and neglect, can also contribute to this appearance. Quality Control Detailing can address these issues through safe washing, machine polishing and adding a layer of protection which can help prevent these issues.
Ceramic Coating V Graphene Coating Protection

Protection
Ceramic coatings are hydrophobic. This means they are water-repellant which makes it hard for dirt and dust to stick to it. Since the coating doesn’t really get dirty, it’s easier to clean too! Ceramic coatings also protect the paint from oxidation caused by UV-rays, almost like a sunscreen for your car.

Thanks to graphene’s anti-static properties, graphene ceramic coatings are dust-repelling, as well as, water-repelling. Basically, it won’t allow dust or any other flyaway particles to settle down on the surface of the car. In addition, graphene’s low heat retention property ensures that water does not evaporate on the paint, instead forming water beads that can slide off easily. Graphene’s honeycomb molecular structure imparts a high contact angle to water, making it easy for water to slide down the paint. This reduces the chance of water spots forming on paint.

Ceramic Coating
Ceramic Coating for cars is a liquid polymer, which on applying to your car’s exterior, bonds with its factory paint and forms a semi-permanent layer of protection over it. Ceramic Coatings are formulated from the same raw material used in glass and ceramics – i.e. Silicon Dioxide or SiO2.
Graphene Coating
Graphene Coating for cars, is created with the addition of graphene to traditional ceramic coatings, creating a lightweight and yet strong coating, which repels dust, in addition to water. This is considered to be a breakthrough in vehicle coating technology.
Why your vehicle needs paint protection?
Every day you take your car on the road, you expose its surface to natural elements like UV rays, rain, and bird droppings, as well as pollutants like smoke, dirt, and tar from the road, all of which can cause physical and chemical harm. Oxidation, dents, abrasions, and scratches are all ways to kill the natural shine of your car. The car’s paint is not enough to fight all these elements alone. Enter paint protection products like ceramic coatings and grapheme coatings, which create a layer, almost like a second skin, on top of your car paint to protect it from all the natural and industrial aggressors that attack paint. And of course, there is science behind it. Ceramic coatings and graphene each protect the car paint based on a different scientific technique.
What causes swirl marks?
Swirl marks are microscopic scratches in the paintwork which can’t quickly deteriorate over time. They are fine scratches most commonly caused by wiping your car with a dry towel (typically when it’s dusty) or improper washing and detailing techniques. improper use of a buffer with the wrong polishing pad and/or wax/polish. Automatic car washes can also cause swirls, Hand application or removal of products using harsh materials can contribute as well, as Failure to rinse your car completely before washing. To avoid swirls, We will spend time on education after the detail is completed on your vehicle, and even provide a detailed set of care instructions to help you maintain a clean and swirl-free finish. A “quick fix” that is commonly used by many dealerships and inexpensive detailing services is to apply glazes that use fillers to temporarily hide the defects. The car may look good, but it will return back to normal after just a few weeks. We only use quality products that have no silicones or fillers.
